HK Deliveroo offers Coronavirus relief measures for local F&B businesses

Deliveroo Hong Kong has announced a 15-20% discount in commission fees for its restaurant and wine merchant partners to support them as numbers of dine-in customers fall due to the coronavirus situation. Due to the impact brought by Covid-19, the Hong Kong government has imposed school closures until 16 March and extend the work from home arrangement for civil servants for another week until 23 February. ProWine Singapore, due to be held this March, has been postponed it has been announced due to concern over Covid-19 (coronavirus). Future Proof Files Injunction Against Molson Coors

Dear Client: Recently we reported that BeatBox maker, Future Proof, had sent a cease and desist letter in January to Molson Coors Beverage Company for what the former dubbed infringement against its seltzer brand, Brizzy. Are US consumers ditching wine for hard seltzer?

Following reports that wine consumption is starting to tail off in the US, further data has revealed that hard seltzer could be taking its place. Tmall unveils beverage sales report for 2020 CNY celebration

Beverage sales in China are always at their peak before the celebration of each lunar new year and China’s e-commerce giant Tmall recently announced a detailed report on the exponential surge of beverage sales driven by the preparation for new year. According to the report, since the beginning of January 2020, the sales of beverage products in Tmall has experienced a growth of 198%.
