Summary

Overproof is looking for a Lead Qualifier to join our marketing team to help us with inbound and outbound lead generation and qualifying. Your focus will be on small and medium sized beverage alcohol producers and suppliers (ie- distilleries, breweries and wineries) and our efforts to convert these to subscribers to the Overproof market intelligence platform.

You are a customer-service oriented team player with an interest and expertise in marketing and sales. You are comfortable with cold-calling and reaching out to business owners and managers, and are capable of explaining our product and value proposition to our target audience.

Responsibilities

You will support Overproof’s marketing and sales team by focusing on inbound and outbound lead generation and qualification.

Responsibilities include:

  • Understand Overproof’s solutions for beverage alcohol brands and how they serve our customer’s needs including features and benefits.
  • Effectively communicate the features and benefits of Overproof’s solutions.
  • Generate, respond to, and qualify marketing leads, and transfer the leads to the sales team for closing.
  • Accurately record information and details of correspondence with all leads in our CRM system.

Inbound and outbound duties include:

Inbound:

  • Follow up with inbound leads generated through organic search, digital marketing, trade advertising and other sources to schedule an introductory call.
  • Qualify leads on an introductory call, gathering a specific set of information and booking them for demos of the platform and app.
  • Perform demos of the Overproof platform.
  • Transfer qualified leads to the sales team for closing.

Outbound:

  • When not on introductory calls with inbound leads, this person will be responsible for outbound calls to our database to generate warm leads.
  • Schedule and conduct introductory calls with the lead.
  • Perform demos of the Overproof platform.
  • Transfer qualified leads to sales team for closing.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience with outbound cold calling.
  • Familiarity with subscription or Saas sales.
  • Comfortable making a high volume of sales calls daily.
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This program is performance-based and provides opportunities for growth in sales scope.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States of America.

Remuneration: part base salary and part performance based incentive.
