Marc De Kuyper

Marc is the eldest of the 11th generation of De Kuyper Royal Distillers, one of the oldest family distilleries in the world. In 2018, Marc founded Overproof, a one-stop-shop Software as a Service for the beverage alcohol industry. Since its founding, Overproof has secured multiple rounds of investments, and has grown to 20+ employees located in Miami, Denver, and Santa Fe, Argentina. With Overproof, Marc is bringing together his network, real-life experience with the challenges of building brands from the ground up, and his passion for the beverage alcohol industry.

Peter Stephenson

Peter oversees the product, technology, UX/UI and insights (data analytics) teams at Overproof. Prior to joining Overproof, Peter was the CPO and head of business development at Sensentia, a B2B SaaS-based AI start-up that developed NLP systems for answering health insurance questions. Peter joined Sensentia after working in Humana’s Innovation Center as Head of Emerging Technology. He began his career working in academic and industrial research in computer science in Australia and Germany. Peter sits on advisory boards for Georgia Tech’s GVU Center, Georgia Tech’s MS-HCI Program, and Podimetrics, a Boston-based healthcare technology start-up. He has published more than 20 refereed scientific publications and patents.

Jasper Nelissen

Jasper leads Overproof’s operational and commercial functions, including brand strategy, marketing, sales and customer success. Jasper is known for his ability to foster collaborative, creative environments and to inspire and structure cross‐functional teams that drive business results. Prior to joining Overproof, Jasper held roles as director and general manager at global advertising powerhouse Saatchi & Saatchi. In 2016, he founded the Nelissen Consulting Group (NCG), a Miami-based consulting practice focused on brand strategy & transformation, leadership development and organizational change & alignment.
