Job Description

Overproof is looking for a mid-level UI/UX Designer to turn our software into easy-to-use products for our clients.

UI/UX Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools, preferably Figma. Website design and Word Press experience is a plus. You should also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications.

Your projects will include the design of a marketing driven, company website and landing pages. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs and help us grow our customer base.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:

On a day-to-day basis, you will be involved in a multitude of UX-UI and design activities, ranging from website and application design to feature design. You are comfortable wearing different hats, and are excited to help build a company from the ground up. Responsibilities include:

Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with UX/UI Director
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
Collaborate to design, implement and maintain (parts of) the Overproof corporate website
Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
Provide CSS and HTML from UI/UX layouts
Generate full webpages for prototyping
Own our company website
Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. dead ends )
Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
Collect and analyze user feedback

QUALIFICATIONS:

At least 2 years experience in a related field
Portfolio of design projects
Advanced knowledge of wireframe tools preferably Figma
Solid knowledge of web technologies as CSS, HTML5, Javascript
Good knowledge of Wordpress or similar CMS
Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
Good time-management skills
Degree in Design, Computer Science, UX or relevant field
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in an efficient, effective and timely manner
